    1. I re-watched Hacksaw yesterday and Garfield's performance there has really grown with me. There's a few slightly weak stretches in the writing when it comes to explaining Doss's religious conviction but he helped mask them and enhance these scenes (like the 'In my heart I did' scene) brilliantly.

    1. I'll admit, re-watching the film, Rhodes is great, but his section was still the least resonant overall for me because it took a while to get going. I love him, but Sanders was the one who really stuck with me this time round.
