Personal Oscar Choices: 1995

Best Picture: Se7en (just about the perfect thriller. Pitch-perfect performances, a great sense of atmosphere, a hellishly good soundtrack, and just overall great direction makes this one of the most immersive motion pictures of the 1990's, and by far my favourite film of 1995.)

  1. Glad to see some Braveheart love. Have you seen Dolores Claiborne?

    1. I'm afraid I haven't. Will check it out though, Bates seems like a prime candidate. Braveheart is a film that's grown on me quite a bit, the technical aspects are pretty much perfect and I like all the performances even though none of them would make my nominees.
